Synapse Studio is a creative studio built on a single conviction: that the forces that shape our lives most powerfully are often the ones we cannot see. Bias embedded in a headline. Identity carried in a name. The distance — and closeness — held inside a single word.
 

We build experiences that render these invisible forces perceptible. Our work spans installation, data art, sound, light, digital media, and interactive design, but we don't start with a medium. We start with a question, then assemble the team and the tools to answer it in the form it demands.
 

Named for the gap where one nerve cell reaches toward another - the space where signals cross -  we work in the between: between disciplines, between people, between what we think we know and what we have yet to see about ourselves.
 

Every project begins with a question and follows it wherever it leads - into lived experience, language, culture, scholarship, data. We are medium-agnostic: the question dictates the form. The craft is exacting because the humanity at its center demands it.
